As respected professionals in the field of gems and precious metals, all Valdemar Jewellers appraisals are modestly priced and accepted by the insurance industry. Written appraisals can take anywhere from a day to two weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece, but never take more than 10 working days. Verbal appraisals will be given upon request, but are for personal interest only and will not be accepted by insurers should a loss occur. All formal appraisals include a colour photograph and are prepared by a qualified gemologist.
